Coron Sojourn!

This is by far the trip with most mishaps but nonetheless made it to the list of the most memorable ones.

We got the plane tickets as early as February during the Travel Expo at the SMX and for a week’s worth of preparation, I think we did well.  I thoroughly read about it, hoping to learn as much as I could.  But reading about it and actually experiencing the magic of Coron is as different as night and day.  I hope the pictures could do it justice.

We arrived in Busuanga at 11am and the Mt. Tapyas Hotel van was already there waiting for us.  It was a scenic 30-minute drive to the hotel located at the center of Coron Town.  We were not able to check in right away because the rooms were still  unavailable.  So we decided to have lunch there at the hotel as we wait for the availability of our rooms. Our guide and boatman Kuya Jong, who will help us with the tours, was already there.

After checking in, we then proceeded to the jetty where our boat awaits for the first leg of our Coron tour.
