Favorite Things: Clarisonic Mia!

When I first tried the Clarisonic Mia, I immediately thought of writing about it but I got busy with so much stuff that I totally forgot.  I only remembered to finally write about it because I am contemplating on dropping by Sephora in my upcoming trip to Malaysia to buy brush head replacements for my Mia.
The wonderful Clarisonic Mia!
To those who have not heard of this wonderful beauty (naks!) tool…this is what the website says.
Clarisonic is an innovative Sonic Skin Cleansing System consisting of a rechargeable electric handle unit, and removable brush head(s), which use a sonic frequency of more than 300 movements per second to cleanse the skin. It was developed by a team led by the primary inventor of the Sonicare toothbrush.

Yes, it’s a giant toothbrush for your face. Lol!

I never imagined myself blogging about beauty products but I feel that I just have to share this…as in may kilig na pag-share pa yan. (Sa 3 readers ng blog na ito…hehehe)

That's the indicator.
On that note, A ask Ichie na to buy one for you.

Here’s how it works.  You charge it for 24 hours before the first use.   According to the website, it’s good for 20 uses.  I never counted, basta pag nag-b-blink na yung light then it’s time to charge the unit again.

Using it is ridiculously easy.  I apply Cetaphil Daily Facial cleanser to my face then I rub off excess cleanser from my fingers to the brush and then I just press the button by the handle and start brushing away.  I start brushing on my forehead, then I work on my nose, cheeks, chin (jawline) and the sides of the mouth.  The direction recommends that you spend 20 seconds on your forehead, 10 seconds on each cheek, and 20 seconds on your nose and chin.  I don’t really follow it, basta I just slowly run the brush in circular motion all over my face.  Believe me, on your first try, you’ll be so amazed that you’d want to use it more that once a day.  As in my face felt like a baby’s bum after 60 seconds of cleaning.  Sobrang soft and smooth…yes, parang lotion/moisturizer ad lang.  hahaha!  I only use it at night just before I take my evening bath…and in the morning, I just wash my face with Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser.
Another wonderful product for the skin!
It’s a miracle gadget for me since I am not fond of going to the dermatologist for skin cleaning.  I think that it does the job…I just want my face clean and pricking is definitely out of the question.  Because to me, that is torture.
Unboxing the Clarisonic Mia
So I highly recommend that you get your hands on one of these babies.  A bit pricey but totally worth every centavo.  What I have is the Limited Berry Edition because I’m lucky that I got a killer deal in B’s recent US trip…I got it as pasalubong!  Yipee!  Thank you.
